I don’t know how many people are aware of the strike on Canadian Postal Service.
The event has escalated to the point where China Post has just announced us that they will no longer accept any packages going into Canada Postal Office.
The followings need to be paid special attention:
1. Any packages going to Canada will not be accepted starting from 11/16/2018 China time (which is today).
2. Any packages on the way to Canada that has not left China yet will be returned by the respective shippers to the senders along with the refunds.
3. Any packages in transit to Canada that has already left China will need to wait for the Canadian Postal Service to send them to the recipients, and we don’t have an ETA.
Epacket is handled by China Post, and the destination of most of the small packages is in Canada. No matter whether it is epacket or other shipping lines, the Canadian post is relied on for the final door to door delivery (just like UPS, FedEx, and DHL, which still rely on the United States Postal Service to make the final delivery after they collected all the packages).
*Note: For now, CJ has removed all those shipping methods whose destination is Canada, except DHL. Once they were put into the shipping method list again, a message would be sent to you, so don’t be worry about it.
In conclusion, I hope by putting this post out here, dropshippers will be able to plan their Facebook Ads targets accordingly.
